The Po is a river in northern Italy. Its length of 652 km[1] makes it the longest river entirely located on Italian soil and also the one with the maximum flow at the mouth, be it at its minimum (270 m³/s overall), average (1,540 m³/s) or maximum (13,000 m³/s). It is one of the most important rivers in Europe and is characterized by magnificent scenery as well as being wild in many points. I fish in the Piacenza stretch, near the mouth of the Trebbia and the dam of Serafini Island, looking for Wels catfish with live bait or spinning with asps and zander. Ledgering is excellent for trapping barbels. Target fish: Wels catfish, zander, asp and Iberian barbel.
