Lake Alserio is situated in the province of Como, Brianza, in Lombardy. On its shores lie the municipalities of Erba, Albavilla, Alserio and Monguzzo. The lake is part of the Regional Park of the Lambro Valley. Its shores are almost entirely natural, making it undoubtedly one of the most beautiful small lakes in the whole of Brianza. It has a depth of approximately eight metres, and its perimeter is fringed with rushes and relatively dense woods. In the past it was famous for the quality and quantity of its water. It is the lake of my childhood, the one in which I have fished the most during my life and which I know the best. It has given me wonderful pike and black bass by trolling, spinning or casting. Target fish: pike, black bass, zander and Wels catfish.
